Philosophy:
I meet you where you are and provide coaching to help you make the changes you desire in a positive, healthy and practical way.

We develop your nutritional goals taking your unique personal health needs and lifestyle into consideration. Many people tell me they are glad they came in for the visit, and that they were afraid I would “tell them what to eat”. Instead, we develop plans for meals and snacks together. I give you the nutrition information you need to make changes and help you decide where to focus your energy for the best results.

We focus on coaching, life and eating balance and moving towards lifestyle changes that will work for you.

We make plans for meals and snacks, and grocery lists together, and can modify your favorite recipes to make them healthier and delicious.

Exercise and activity are important factors in wellness. We will set practical exercise goals and develop plans for meeting them.

With a PhD in nutrition, I am able to help you cut through the fads and make changes that are evidence-based and health promoting.

From my extensive experience providing nutritional care in hospitals, in addition to wellness settings, I am able to carefully integrate your health concerns and medical diagnoses with your nutrition goals.

My practice includes adults, pregnant women, college students, adolescents and children.

I provide guidance for the following health concerns:
Weight loss with no gimmicks

I provide Medical Nutrition Therapy for improving health conditions such as:
Diabetes

Cardiovascular diseases
Disordered Eating
Food allergies and sensitivities

Meditation for Health and Weight Loss
Meditation is a helpful aid in making positive choices that encourage health and weight loss.
I have incorporated meditation in my practice for over 25 years.

I teach individuals and lead groups in meditation and visualizations for relaxation, and to improve positive balance in lifestyle, food habits, weight loss and health.

Meditations are personalized for best effects.
